Crucible Reflection

The Crucible made me frustrated a lot. If they would have just used common sense there would have not even been witch hunts. They could have just seen people were lying to save themselves. Also why would they put people in such a difficult position of dying or going to hell because of how strict their religion was? If they could have just thought things through there would have been so many lives saved. It kind reflects today on how ignorant people are and don't think things through but go off of what they think they know and to only save themselves.

Paul Robeson

Paul was a very interesting man and could have succeeded even more in life if the communism issues did not strike. He was multilingual, a great actor who traveled everywhere and broke the color barrier in acting. He was one of the first African Americans to play roles that would be more for white men and he also he had a play that was the longest running in history. Because of his passport being taken away from him he couldn't travel to act and was given a bad name. Just now his accomplishments are being shown because back then he was being discriminated for what happened to him. He is a lost part of important history.

Puritan Plain Style: Fire and Brimstone

How do you call yourselves believers? What you are doing is preposterous. You are going around sinning as if it is nothing and you do nothing to fix it? How can you even look at yourself, you are all just animals and hypocrites. How do you expect God to forgive you for all you have done? You must be insane to think he will let all of this go away for you do nothing to show respect to him! You better find a way to show that you are true believer or you will perish in hell for all of eternity.
